One of the world’s most famous ultra-marathons, brought its iconic finish line to the Moses Mabhida Stadium precinct on June 8, 2025. For this Down Run edition, the race concluded just outside the stadium at People’s Park. Marking the stadium as the official Comrades Marathon finish was praised for offering a more expansive and accessible area for the huge crowd of supporters, family, and running club tents, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the over 22 000 registered participants.
